Jan was surprised when her friend gave her a large brown envelope. She was confused that it came from Jake. Jake left in a hurry and didn't gave her any explanation.
Jan was a little scared to open it but when she got home, after dinner she rode it and it said
" Hi Jen, you might think I tried to tell you i love you but it is quite the opposite, my tastes go in the other direction...i hope you will still be my friend"
She finally understand the fear she felt from Jake, he wasn't trying to tell her he loves her, he tried to come out to her that he likes boys. Jan was happy that Jake made up the courage to tell her that and that he trusts her.
The next day she saw him went up to him, gave him a hug and said "You will be my friend no matter what!"
And they just went on with their day because Love is Love
