Corner shops are close to my home,and I like to shop there because of the friendly atmosphere on the other hand department stores are cheaper and have a wider choice of products.Also is very convenient to pay by credit card however the corner stores are opened long hours,so I can go anytime I need something.
I can walk to the corner store whereas to go to a department store I have to drive or take a bus.
In the end both options are good,for different occasions.Weekend shopping at the big stores and every day needs close to home.
