Maria
I am furious. I was treated really badly in a clothes shop yesterday. The staff were so
rude and unhelpful. They completely ignored me and were only interested in chatting
to each other and checking their phones. When I went to pay, the assistant on the till
didn’t smile and hardly looked at me. No-one said ‘Thank you’ even though I spent a
lot of money. Is it just me who’s treated like this in shops?

I have been feeling just as mistreated as you during my recent shopping sprees, Maria. It seems like the staff of these shops do not truly care about their job and only look for an easy way to get some money. For example, last time I went shopping, I had to greet one of the workers three times before she would stop chatting on her phone, and then she acted so mean just because I had interrupted her! I think that if more of us complained to them about it and wrote negative reviews on their shops, it would motivate them to work harder so they don't lose clients. I advise everyone to try and make these people understand just how important customer service is.
